What is manuscript transfer? How will it be used for ACS Omega?

Manuscript Transfer is an opt-in service that simplifies and shortens manuscript submission to another ACS journal.   Previously, if a manuscript was declined from an ACS journal, authors had to re-enter information in ACS Paragon Plus to submit to another ACS journal; with Manuscript Transfer, all author and coauthor information, suggested reviewers, responses to submission questions, and manuscript files will be  transferred as part of the new submission without restarting the submission process.   The original ACS Editor’s decision letter, and any associated reviews and the reviewer identities will be provided to the next journal.  Authors will benefit from rapid editorial review of submissions transferred to ACS Omega, because the manuscript may not need further external peer review.
